This OEM rear brake pad wear sensor is a key safety component that allows worry-free driving without the need for constant visual inspection of your brake pad material. Once the brake lining dash light is illuminated on your dash, this is a warning of thin brake pad material. Pads should be replaced as soon as possible, and the sensor is a required replacement once the brake lining dash has come on.

TECH NOTE: On a majority of applications the brake lining light can be reset easily by installing a new sensor and turning the ignition to the second position (without starting the car) for approximately one minute - or until the light goes out.
