Performance software for your 2016-2018 BMW F87 M2 picks up where the factory left off. By making smart changes in the factory tuning we can extract big horsepower and torque gains from the N55 engine without negative side effects. The factory M2 software is intentionally conservative with torque limiters, timing and VANOS settings, and speed restrictors that artificially limit power output. With careful analysis and deconstruction of the stock software we take the best parts of the factory software and improve on the weaker areas to deliver an exceptional F87 software upgrade.
Our software tunes on the M2 N55 are dyno developed and every customer file receives individual attention from the tuners at Epic Motorsports. Choose from a base power upgrade (all other features remain factory) or with additional features such as adjusting throttle sensitivity, auto-blip on downshifts, launch control, exhaust burble/backfire, octane ratings, speed limiters, and more. You’re not just limited to one file either - multiple files can be stored and quickly flashed to the car to meet your needs. Our software retains all of the ‘safety net’ features of the stock software. Our goal is to make more power seamlessly while also improving drivability and smoothness with no downsides!
M2 Race software is also available for competition use with downpipes, cat delete, and other changes engineered for running all day on the track with no failures or limp mode. Epic Motorsports is the winner of six National Championships in BMWCCA and NASA series and Epic-tuned BMWs consistently run at the front of the pack.
M2 software is installed with the included Engine Calibration Interface (ECI) connected to the OBD port in your dash and a Windows laptop (compatible with XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10). There is nothing to modify or remove and you never have to worry about modifications to the ECU or wiring harness. The ECI tool will read and save a copy of your stock software, which is then e-mailed to us for modification. A new tuned version of your original file is returned to you. This is better than off-the-shelf tunes that never look at your original software. You can continue to drive the car while your tuned file is being processed.

Therefore, it is not legal for installation or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle. Some suppliers will not ship to certain states, requiring extra delivery time. We will advise you of any delays.
