Auxiliary Water Pump (Turbo Cooling) - OEM Pierburg - N63/S63 Engines

This electric water pump is the auxiliary "helper" pump, that helps circulate critical engine coolant through the N63/S63 V8 engine and to cool the turbos -- even after the engine is turned off. 

These electric pumps use an electric motor and digital circuit, and are known to go "kaput", triggering engine trouble codes, check engine lights, and cooling system fault codes. Worse, if the pump has failed, it fails to cycle coolant to the turbos as it should, which jeopardizes the health of the turbos themselves. 

Fortunately replacing this pump with this new OEM pump can fix these issues, and get your "50i" powered V8 back to normal operation. 

This pump was used on the high-powered twin turbo V8 models, including the F10 M5, F06/F13/F12 M6, and a slew of "50i" model 5/6/7/X models, such as the 550i, 650i, 750i/750Li, X5 xDrive50i, and X6 xDrive 50i. 

This pump is made by Pierburg, the OE manufacturer (OEM) for BMW. This means this aux turbo cooling waterpump is built to the exact specifications from BMW, and includes any "updates" and revisions made throughout the years. While a Genuine BMW pump is available at a much higher cost, this OE replacement to BMW part # 11515A36581 / 11-51-5-A36-581 makes the most sense from a quality / value standpoint.
