This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11118619408 (11 11 8 619 408) and is described as the coolant outlet on the side of the B58A engine block on F22 M240i, F30 340i, and F32 440i. It's also for 2017-2019 models of the G30 540i, G12 740i, G01 X3 M40i, and G02 X4 M40i. This drains hot coolant from the block to the upper radiator hose. Because it's made of plastic it can be susceptible to heat and harsh chemicals.
