Coolant Level Sensor - E34 525i and E36 M50/M52/S50 (1989-3/1996)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11510393338 (11-51-0-393-338) and is described as Coolant Level Sensor (95mm Length) for E36 325i, 325is, 328i, 328is, and M3 (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, up to 3/1996), as well as E34 525i (1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995).

This coolant level sensor is located in the bottom of the coolant expansion tank, and can cause false 'Low Coolant' warnings if the switch is faulty.
