Heater Core Return Hose, Aftermarket - E30 325i 88+

This large & intricate coolant hose is a heater return line for for 1988+ E30 325i, 325is, 325iX, and 1988 “Super E” 325e. It runs from the heater core to the engine thermostat housing and to the expansion tank. If you are replacing heater hoses, or overhauling your E30 M20 6 cylinder's cooling system we recommend this hose to do the job right. 

Some E30s were retrofitted by BMW with a heater thermostat on the firewall. These cars used a drain hose to bypass the heater core and dump hot coolant into this main Heater Core Return Hose. If you have this thermostat and buy the Heater Core Return Hose you will need to cut the new hose and re-use the T-connector from your original hose (or buy a new T-connector).

This part is also used to convert the 1987 cooling system to the late 1988 E30 cooling system, which also requires the radiator, expansion tank, and additional hoses.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many cooling components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
