Cylinder Head to Thermostat Hose, Febi - E82 128i, E9X 325i/328i/330i, E85 Z4 3.0i/3.0si

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11537545890 (11-53-7-545-890) and is described as the coolant hose running from the cylinder head to the thermostat on E82 128i, E9X 325i/328i/330i, and E85/E86 Z4 3.0i/3.0si models.

Pay particular attention to the flange where this hose is bolted to the cylinder head. The plastic can crack and snap here, leading to a coolant leak. An aluminum flange is available as an upgrade (also from Rein), see below.

Coolant leaks on the N51/N52 engines must not be ignored and repairs cannot be put off. Coolant leaking onto the belts makes them extra slippery and lead to belt failure and even major engine damage (belt ingestion). Fix coolant leaks right away!

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many cooling components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart.
