IAT/Coolant Sensor O-Ring, 8x3mm (Green), BMW - E82, E36, E46, E9X, F3X, E39, E60, F10, E83, E53, E70, F15, Z3, E85

Obnoxious coolant leak from your lower radiator hose? It's likely coming from the small o-ring on the coolant temperature sensor. Over time, and especially with removal & reinstallation, rubber o-rings harden and shrink and they no longer seal as well as original. This green o-ring is the same size as the o-ring on the coolant temp sensor, part #13621433077. You don't have to buy a more expensive sensor just to replace the o-ring (although a new sensor wouldn't hurt).

This o-ring was originally used for the intake air temperature sensor (IAT) in the intake manifold on M52, M52TU, M54, and S52 engines. It's a Buna-N material that is suitable for coolant and water. However, the URO Parts o-ring that we also offer for the temp sensor is EPDM and much more resilient to antifreeze and coolant and is an upgrade over the IAT sensor o-ring (see our Related Items below).
