This is the hose that carries coolant from the engine block to the thermostat on N20/N26 engines in the F22 228i, F30 320i/328i, F32 428i, X1/X3/X4 28i, and Z4 28i. This is the hose with the upgraded aluminum flange that will not crack and crumble, leaving you with a bad coolant leak or worse.
This is an OEM thermostat hose upgrade manufactured by Rein Automotive - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other engine components.
