This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 17227560980 (17 22 7 560 980) and is described as engine oil cooler return pipe for E60 535i. It has two fittings where rubber hose meets metal line. These fittings are compression crimp-style swage ("swedge") fittings that are very common in the automotive world. These swage fittings are the most common area for leaks. It's easier to replace the entire line with a new OEM or BMW part than to try and repair the line.
O-ring part #17222245358 should be ordered separately.
