This is the replacement auxiliary cooling radiator used in Sport Line or M Sport F22 228i, F30 320i/328i, and F32 428i. Sport and M Sport models came with this extra radiator on the right side of the front bumper. It's location and hoses suggest this is an extra cooling circuit for the turbo.
There are two different aux radiators shown for these applications. They both use the same frame, hardware, and hoses. The difference is the number of cooling tubes. This 697 radiator has 19 tubes. The 17117628057 radiator uses 25 tubes.
This is a Genuine BMW M Sport aux radiator with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity.
