This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 17119468697 (17 11 9 468 697) and is described as a mesh rock guard for the front transmission oil cooler for G01 X3 30i, M40i and G02 X4 30i, M40i. Because of its placement low and in the nose it's susceptible to rocks and other debris that can damage the cooler and lead to a transmission oil leak. This screen fits into the front bumper and protects the cooler from damage.
BMW only lists this for 2018-2020 models due to the design of the front bumper. However, it may fit all other years with some modification (we have not tried or confirmed).
This is a Genuine BMW X3 oil cooler rock guard with a two year warranty.
