Water Pump Kit (for Screw-On Fan), Saleri - E12, E28, E34, E24, E23, E32

New water pump with gasket to restore cooling system operation. Like any vehicle, the water pump is a wear and tear item, although there may not be much indication until you notice a coolant leak or feel the bearings are shot. Check for play in the water pump shaft which indicates the bearings are worn.

This brand uses a composite impeller that is lighter and more efficient than the heavier original metal design. The lighter weight is better for bearing life and the composite material is not known to fail (like some other plastic designs). We don't have a company preference to the impeller material as both have their benefits.

This is an OEM water pump manufactured by Saleri - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other water pumps. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
