Water pump for 2016+ F22 230i, F3X 330i/430i, G30 530i, G01 X3, G02 X4 models with the 4-cylinder turbo engine (B46).

Note: this is only the water pump and does not include the flow control flap, pulley, or vacuum actuator found on the Genuine BMW replacement water pump kit. These other pieces are not available separately from BMW so this pump is only good if you have a pump failure and nothing else. The Genuine kit may be a better overhaul of the B46 coolant pump.

The mechanical water pump on the B46 engine is essentially a wear item. With enough miles, stress, and age/time, eventually the water pump will fail and create a coolant leak or engine overheating situation that will leave you broken down. And cooling requirements on modern cars are higher than ever leaving water pump with more cooling demands than other designs.

Fitment note: 530i, X1/X2, or X3/X4 only up to 2019 model year (not for 2020+).
