Water Pump Bolt Kit - Upgraded Steel - N54/N55 - 11517602123

If you are replacing the water pump on an N54 or N55 turbo 6 cylinder BMW, you will want a new set of water pump bolts. This is a set of 3, which is the correct quantity for the N54 and N55 water pump replacement. 

These bolts are zinc coated steel, not to be confused with the aluminum water pump bolts some other vendors may be offering. Because of the zinc coating it can be very hard to tell the steel bolts from the aluminum ones - These are the ones you want. 

We get asked all the time: "Can you reuse the original water pump bolts on my N54/N55 BMW?" And the answer is NO, if you do not want to reuse the bolts if your water pump has the original aluminum bolts. The original aluminum water pump bolts are designed to be torqued once and then they stretch, making them unsafe to reuse / re-torque. This set, however, is made of steel and not aluminum, so they can be torque and re-torqued down the road. 

This is a full set of 3 water pump bolts, enough to do the job right on the N54 twin-turbo models and the N55 twin-power (single) turbo engines, as used in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 model years.
