This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11518650986 (11 51 8 650 986) and is described as Genuine BMW Water Pump with Support for G42, G20 M340i, G22 M440i, G12 740i, G01 X3 M40i (2019+), G05 X5 xDrive40i, G30 540i (2019+ only!) and G29 Z4 M40i. These are models which have the B58TU and B58D engines, which use this style belt-driven water pump as part of their cooling system.

Not for cars before the 2019 model year. This water pump is for the newer/later style B58 engine, known as the B58TU or B58D, which is significantly different than the previous years.
