Outer CV Boot Repair Kit - Rein - F10/F02 xDrive & 535d - 31607606091

This is the rear outer CV Boot Repair Kit, which includes Boot, Grease, and Clamps. This kit is made specifically for the xDrive F10 5 Series (AWD), the F01/F02 7 Series models (AWD), as well as the F10 535d (diesel) sedan. This is used to replace the outer boots on these models (left or right, on the rear of the car.) 

Kit Includes
 - 1 CV boot / bellows (enough to replace one)
 - A pack of correct CV axle grease
 - New clamps for securing the boot at both sides

This comparable part for this is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31607606091 and is described as Repair Kit Bellows, Exterior. This is a high-quality Rein brand which is made to the right specifications for a perfect repair. 

The original BMW boots on these applications are known to crack/split, which will leak and throw the grease everywhere but where it needs to be (inside the CV boot). If replaced soon after failure, you can prevent a much more expensive repair. If left unfixed, the dry CV joint will fail, requiring a much larger job and more money spent.
