Only M models received limited-slip differentials which left the car with just electronic traction control to regulate wheel spin. The F22/F3X becomes a more capable performance car when both rear wheels are maximizing traction. A limited-slip differential seamlessly and immediately transfers torque away from a spinning tire and moves it to the tire on the opposite side. With a M Performance differential 30% of torque is transferred to the opposite tire (and then electronic traction control steps in). The system works independently, and limits interference, of traction control which will cut power or apply the brakes. The car feels faster because there is more traction and grip.
