These bushings replace BMW part numbers 33171117282, 33171116730, 33171116507, 33171116268, 33171117263.

Powerflex urethane E21 differential mount bushings reduce unwanted and excessive rear axle movement, especially during hard driving and abrupt on/off throttle. Stock rubber bushings become too soft and pliable over time, which leads to excess differential movement in the subframe, which can impact the rest of the rear suspension. Stiffer urethane diff bushings will help reduce play and "wind-up" in the diff mounts and provide crisper torque transfer.

Powerflex has extensive experience in automotive suspension and chassis systems and has combined these skills with advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques. Durometer is standardized per fitment and location, so you can rest assured knowing the design engineers have selected the optimal urethane hardness for this specific part.

Two bushing types are offered for the E21:

Street Performance (Purple): mild upgrade over a stock rubber bushing. Improved performance without a great sacrifice in ride comfort.
Street/Track (Black): Uncompromised performance for the track. Nearly solid bushing with very little deflection. Much improved performance but you may experience additional noise and comfort on the street.

Note: Powerflex copper-based grease is supplied with every bushing set, and they will rarely need re-lubing due to the unique design features built into the material to hold the lubricant.
