Stock original rubber mounts are a compromise for the isolated feeling and ultra-smooth driveline in the E82 and E9X. But they can be too soft, leading to wind up and lots of deflection especially in tuned cars with more torque. Stiff mounts will reduce the wind-up and deliver more power to the wheels and a more connected and planted feel.

Durometer is standardized per fitment and location, so you can rest assured knowing the design engineers have selected the optimal urethane hardness for this specific part.
