This is the OEM LuK clutch kit for the 2008-2013 E90 E92 E93 M3 with 6-speed manual transmission. LuK is the original supplier to BMW for many clutch and driveline components. This clutch kit includes the clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. Because LuK is the original supplier, this E9X M3 clutch kit is guaranteed to fit correctly and perform just as when it came out of the factory.

Additional items should also be replaced as part of the "while you're in there" work. This includes, but is not limited to, exhaust gaskets, transmission seals and bushings, driveshaft mounts, pilot bearing, and the rear main seal. In addition, the condition of the flywheel will be unknown until exposed with the clutch removed. Some flywheels may be resurfaced, however, it's not guaranteed. In the case of dual-mass flywheels, the typical replacement interval is every other clutch change (but sometimes sooner). Ordering the basic clutch kit is usually first on a long list of parts to replace at the same time.

2008 fitment note: BMW had a different 6MT flywheel and clutch for cars produced up to 9/2008. The 2008 parts have been discontinued and superseded to the 2009+ parts. When purchasing a new OEM clutch choose any E9X M3 6MT clutch and/or flywheel. If you have a 2009-2013 M3 6-speed, this clutch is a direct replacement and no other parts are required.
