It is no secret that transmission fluid leaks are common on older or high-mileage BMWs. Low transmission fluid levels can quickly lead to damage on oil-starved gears and bearings. If you are removing the transmission for any reason, we recommend replacing all of the shaft seals.
We bundled the 3 transmission oil seals into a kit to make it easier for you to get the correct parts to reseal your Getrag 420 (S6S420G) 6-speed manual gearbox.
Kit Includes:- Input Shaft Seal (35x52x7), Rein OEM
- Output Shaft Seal (52x68x8), Corteco OEM
- Shifter Shaft Seal (12x21x6.5), Genuine BMW
This set of oil seals fits the Getrag 420G (S6S420G) 6-speed manual transmissions used on E46 M3 (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006), E34 540i (1994, 1995), E39 540i, M5 (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003), and E52 Z8 Roadster (2000-2003).
