This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 24327532013 (24-32-7-532-013) and is described as Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulator for Torque Converter Clutch / Lock-up Solenoid, or TCC solenoid, as used on many E39 E46 X3 X5 Z3 BMWs with an automatic transmission.
