O-ring to seal the shifter selector rod shaft inside the manual transmission of 2002, E82, E21, E30, E36, E46, E9X, E28, E34, E39, E60, E24, E63, E53, Z3, E85, E89 models. Although most transmission leaks seem to come from the output shaft seal, this smaller seal can also be a source for leaks. If replacing one you might as well replace them both.
