It is no secret that transmission fluid leaks are common on older or high-mileage BMWs. Low transmission fluid levels can quickly lead to damage on oil-starved gears and bearings. If you are removing the transmission for any reason, we recommend replacing all of the shaft seals.
We bundled the 3 transmission oil seals into a kit to make it easier for you to get the correct parts to reseal your ZF GS6-17 6-speed manual gearbox.
Kit Includes:
- Input Shaft Seal (30x50x7), Corteco OEM
- Output Shaft Seal (40x55x8), Elring OEM
- Shifter Shaft Seal (15x21x5), Elring OEM
This set of oil seals fits the ZF GS6-17 6-speed manual transmissions used on E82/E88 128i (2008-2013), E90/E92/E93 325i, 328i (2006-2013), F30 320i, 328i, 330i (2012-2018), F32/F33 428i, 430i (2014-2020), E60 525i, 528i (2006-2010), F10 528i (2012-2016), E85 Z4 3.0i (2006, 2007, 2008), and E89 Z4 28i (2012-2016).
