Front Hub (Wheel Bearing) - E31, E32, E34 - 31221139345

The Front Hub (Wheel Bearing) isn't something most people think about until it's time to replace them. They generally work seamlessly... Until they don't. If you've noticed a groaning from one or both of the front wheels on your E34 5-Series, E32 7-Series or E31 8-Series, especially when turning, it's likely the bearings. 

The easiest way to verify if it's your wheel bearings is to jack the front of the car, put a hand on top and on the bottom of the wheel in question, and try to see if the wheel has any play. If it does, it's best to change the wheel bearings before they become more than just an annoying sound and leave you stranded on the road. 

These are OEM front hub assemblies made by FAG or SKF -- one of the manufacturers to BMW that we trust and use on our own BMWs. This is much less expensive than the true BMW wheel bearing hub, but offers the same longevity and high standards you'd expect from an OE part.

Please note: This bearing is NOT for 540 M Sport or E34 M5 models, which used a different (larger) front bearing, part # 31212226640. This bearing is the standard 83mm bearing found on most E31 / E32 / E34.
