The E39's Front Hub (Wheel Bearing) isn't something most people think about until it's time to replace them. They generally work seamlessly... Until they don't. If you've noticed a groaning from one or both of the front wheels on your E39 5-Series (non-M), especially when turning, it's likely the bearings. 

The easiest way to verify if it's your wheel bearings is to jack the front of the car, put a hand on top and on the bottom of the wheel in question, and try to see if the wheel has any play. If it does, it's best to change the wheel bearings before they become more than just an annoying sound and leave you stranded on the road. 

These are OEM front hub assemblies. Fits all E39 5 series (except M5) including 528i, 525i, 530i and 540i for all years of production including 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 model years. 

Priced per hub. We recommend replacing both sides, so be sure to add 2 to your cart if you plan on doing both left and right wheel bearings.
