The Front Hub (Wheel Bearing) isn't something most people think about until it's time to replace them. They generally work seamlessly... Until they don't. If you've noticed a groaning from one or both of the front wheels on your E30 M3, especially when turning, it's likely the bearings. 

The easiest way to verify if it's your wheel bearings is to jack the front of the car, put a hand on top and on the bottom of the wheel in question, and try to see if the wheel has any play. If it does, it's best to change the wheel bearings before they become more than just an annoying sound and leave you stranded on the road. 

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31226757024 (31 22 6 757 024) and is described as Wheel Bearing/Hub for E36, E46, Z3, and Z4.

This is Timken part #513125. It is sometimes associated with BMW E30 M3, E28 5-series, and E24 6-series. While most major dimensions are the same, the rotor retaining screw is clocked in a different position and the ABS tone ring is not correct for these models. The ABS rings can be swapped but no solution exists for the rotor screw.
