Front Left Control Arm, BMW - E36 M3 96-99, MZ3

The E36 M3/MZ3 '96+ Front Control Arm is the Genuine BMW replacement unit with a solid-mounted outer ball joint for great road feel and increased service life. This control arm incorporates the added caster from the '95 M3 into the geometry of the arm instead of the bushing. We also carry track-only spherical E36/Z3 race arms with adjustable roll center ability.

The BMW E36 M3 front suspension is a basic, durable design incorporating a lower control arm and McPherson strut assembly. The lower control arm has pressed-in joints that can become worn, causing poor handling traits and bad tire wear. We suggest replacing the entire arm and joint assembly at one time for an easy installation and assurance of a fully new part. Also, if you have worn ball joints on one side of your BMW, there is a good chance the other arm is at the end of its service life as well. Therefore, we will typically suggest replacing the arms as pairs.
