This is the Genuine BMW Oil Pan as used on AWD model E9X 3 Series (E90/E91/E92) as well as the E84 X1 xDrive Models. This oil pan is specific to the AWD / all wheel drive system equipped models, which BMW calls the xDrive system. This includes 325xi, 328xi, 330xi, and 335xi models for model years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. It also includes the 2013 xDrive Coupe models (which were the 2 door 328i xDrive and 335i xDrive models).

Only for the xDrive Models - E9x 325xi, 328xi, 330xi, 335xi, 328i xDrive, and 335xi (335i xDrive). These models used several different variations of the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine including the N51 SULEV, N52, N54 (twin turbo), and N55 (twinpower / single turbo).
