This is a piston ring repair kit, enough for one cylinder. Each piston ring set is sold Individually, so be sure to order enough for your job. 

Standard Size - 83.98mm Diameter

This piston ring is used on M20 “i” motors, such as the E30 325i/325is/325ic/325ix as well as the Early M50 “non-vanos” engine, each came in the 1991-1992 E34 525i and E36 325i/325is in the 1992 model year. 

Only for M50 cars built before 9/1992. On the M50 models this piston ring set is ONLY for the non-vanos / 1991-1992 models. Not for cars after the 1992 model year (M50 fitment). It's worth noting that on the E30 3 series, the 325ic (convertible) used this piston ring through 1993. Most E30 models discontinued production in 1991, as the 3-Series transitioned to the E36 platform.
