Bosch Starter - SR0492N - E9X 3 Series & E60 5 Series to 2/2011 - 12412354701

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 12412354701 (12 41 2 354 701) and is described as Starter Motor, brand new factory Bosch (not rebuilt or remanufactured) for non-M model BMW 3 series including E90 (2006-02/2011 sedan), E91 (2006-02/2011 wagon), E92 (2007-02/2011 coupe), and E93 (2008-02/2011 convertible), as well as E82/E88 1 Series (2008-02/2011) and Z4 with N52/N54 engine before 3/2011. 

This starter motor was used on several BMW 6 cylinder engines including the N52/N52N 3.0 liter non-turbo, N51 SULEV, N54 3.0 liter twin turbo, and the N55 3.0 liter twin-scroll single turbo engine.

You can find your build date on the driver's side VIN plate in the door jamb, usually in a MM/YY format. (For example, 08/10 would designate August of 2010.)
