The VANOS unit on your BMW uses oil pressure to actuate the camshaft adjustment units. A restricted or clogged filter can lead to improper operation and eventual failure of the VANOS system.
This kit contains Genuine BMW parts necessary to replace the filter/strainer, which is located on the S54 VANOS pressure limiting valve. We recommend replacing this filter every 25,000-30,000 miles. This is a simple job, and requires only a 22mm socket and a couple of standard hand tools.

- 1x Genuine BMW O-ring (14x3mm)
- 1x Genuine BMW O-ring (10.82x1.78mm)
This kit can be used on E46 M3 (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006), Z3 M Coupe, M Roadster (2001-2002), and E85/E86 Z4 M Coupe, M Roadster (2006, 2007, 2008).
