VANOS Central Valve, BMW - F22, F3X, F10, X1/X3/X4/Z4 28i (N20/N26)

Fits either the intake or exhaust cam.

This is the oil supply valve that directs oil up into the Adjuster unit. The plunger from the solenoid pushes oil through this valve to activate the Adjuster unit. A failure in any part of this system will cause the camshaft to be fixed in one position, or may have a delayed reaction, affecting performance and drivability.

The N20 VANOS system is made up of several components, all of which could give you VANOS issues (power loss, rough running, poor fuel economy, slow starting, rattle noises, and check engine faults).
