Crankcase Vent Cap Diaphragm Kit (PCV) - E46 325i M56

M56 crankcase vent cap that is unavailable from BMW directly.

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11127521080 (11 12 7 521 080) and is described as the plastic crankcase vent cap, rubber diaphragm, and spring used on the M56 valve cover. BMW does not sell the cap or diaphragm separately even though it has a BMW part number molded into it. If you have the M56 SULEV model or have upgraded your M54 to the M56 valve cover you were out-of-luck for a replacement cap until we found an overseas source for this one.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many valve cover components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
