Intake Manifold Distribution Piece, BMW - E46, E39, X3, X5, Z3, Z4, M54

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11611440318 (11 61 1 440 318) and is described as the Distribution Piece used on 1999+ M52TU and M54 engines used on E46, E39, E60, E83, E53, Z3, and E85 models. The Distribution Piece routes oil vapor from the Crankcase Vent system back into the intake manifold to be burned up. It sits on top of the intake manifold and is held in place with screws. There is nothing to fail on the Distribution Piece but it's made of plastic and is easily damaged, especially where the Crankcase Vent hoses connect.
