Air Filter with Charcoal Layer, Mahle - F22 M235i, F3X 335i/435i

Since the quality of the intake air has a direct affect on performance and efficiency it just makes sense to have a clean air filter. Clogged and dirty filters will prevent good airflow to the engine and the engine computer has no choice but to compensate. To help keep your engine running at its optimum best, always replace or clean your air filter once a year.

This is the OEM air filter for the N55 engine in the F22 M235i, F30/F34 335i, and F32/F33/F36 435i. For some reason BMW only used this filter on M Sport models but it's the same dimensions as the standard filter. This filter is made by Mahle, an original supplier to BMW for the original air filter, as well as many other filters on your BMW. It has a two year warranty against defects.

This filter includes the extra layer of charcoal material found on some US cars. The charcoal filter provides extra filtration in high dust environments. For the non-charcoal filter see part #13717602643.
