Replacement Right engine mount for F10 535xi, F06/F13 640xi, F01/F02 740xi models with the N55 engine.

Only for xDrive (All Wheel Drive) models.

Stock motor mounts are filled with a vibration-dampening fluid giving them a hydraulic like absorbency. Mounts go bad when the fluid leaks or evaporates from the engine mount, leaving a rubber block that is far too flexible and "squishy" to do a proper job of supporting the engine. Once the engine mount fails, it causes engine shaking, vibration, as well as unwanted driveline twisting. This twisting action will harm the rest of the drivetrain bushings (like transmission and differential mounts) as well as the metal motor mount arms that hold these in place. In some cases the engine can twist far enough to cause contact with other components (such as a fan into a radiator or a belt into a hose).

This is an OEM motor mount manufactured by an original supplier (Corteco or Lemforder) to BMW for this part, as well as many other mounts and bushings. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
