This set of 6 CP-Carillo PRO-H piston connecting rods includes upgraded CARR rod bolts, and is a direct replacement for the original connecting rods on the BMW S38 6-cylinder engine used on E28 M5 (1987, 1988), E34 M5 (1990, 1991, 1992, 1993), and E24 M6 (1987, 1988, 1989).

About CP Connecting Rods: Each CP connecting rod is cut from a forging of Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy made with chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. CP rods are also heat treated and shot peened to increase strength and durability. Made in USA.
About CARR Rod Bolts: CARR multiphase fasteners are good for an indefinite number of torque cycles when stretch method is followed for installation.
