Epic Motorsports High Lift Race Valve Spring Kit - M50 M52 M52TU M54 S50 S52

This custom valve spring kit goes far beyond typical "performance" spring kits. Rather than double springs or springs that are much too stiff (and add increased resistance and wear because of it), these are a engineered solution. This setup is tested and proven on the “M50” based engines, which include M50, M52, M52tu, M54, US-spec S50, and US-spec S52 24 valve engines.

Designed for use with the Epic Motorsports Race or Schrick high lift cams, this kit was designed with extensive Spintron testing. This ensures the springs apply the correct amount of pressure to keep the valves in contact with the cam lobes and valve seats, without any unnecessary brute force (less parasitic losses and wear/fatigue). This kit will allow the valvetrain to rev to 9,500 (only with Epic cams), but most engines will be bottom-end rev limited well below this level. 

We suggest a non-sustained maximum limit of 7,400 for the US model S50 and 7,200 for S52 engines.

Kit includes valve springs, lower seats, and upper steel retainers. Titanium is not our preference because of its softness.
