Epic Motorsports Performance Software - E46 323i/328i, E39 528i, Z3 2.8

The original factory software in your BMW has been engineered for emissions compliance and mass market appeal, leaving performance out of the equation. BMW deliberately de-tunes the car for lower octane that we have in the US. This naturally leaves some room for improvement if you only run 91 or higher octane fuel. We tune the ignition, camshaft, and VANOS values to optimize them for better fuel. We also adjust the fuel maps to match the more aggressive timing. Our software produces more horsepower (+15hp) and torque (+22ft-lbs) and a smoother-running engine. We don't just tune for full throttle either - there is more torque available in the mid-RPM as well! Throttle response is also improved.

Stage 1 software is for a stock engine or with a basic cold-air intake. Other stages are also available including full race with catalytic converters and the air pump removed.

Our custom performance tune for the M52TU powered 328i/528i (1999-2000 model years) combines these years of BMW performance tuning, racing and track events, and ECU tuning into this fantastic software upgrade. This tune is specifically for the "Technical Update" TU version of the M52 engine, as offered on 1999 and 2000 model year E46 328i and E39 5 series 528i. This tune also is supported for the 1999 and 2000 Z3 2.8 liter roadster with the later/newer style M52TU engine (4/1999 and newer production). 

Our software is installed via a D-CAN cable (included) and your Windows laptop (compatible with XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10). The D-CAN cable is included at this price. Read and email your stock file and a tuned file will be returned to you. This is better than off-the-shelf tunes that never look at your original software.
