Epic Motorsports software tuning for the E46 M3 consistently provides more gains than any other tune on the market (old or revised). No other tuner has as much experience building, tuning, and racing the S54 engine than Epic Motorsports and BimmerWorld. It's this depth of experience that allows Epic to extract more power and torque. S54 software is available in three stages - performance street, race, or Alpha-N.

Performance - an "off-the-shelf" tune that produces superior power and torque gains and can be custom-tailored for your preferences. Every file is done based on your stock tune (not a canned file) so you can add options such as Sport Mode Memory, octane preference, custom rev limits, DSC button control, and top speed limiter all in one file. This is a street tune and assumes the factory catalytic converters, EGT, and O2 sensors are in place. Even though the gains are the same between Performance and Race, reliability and durability is not reduced for normal street use.

Race - tuned specifically for cars that see full-time track duty and have cat-delete, headers, straight exhaust, and other mods. The tuning is done based on popular mods used in our own race cars as well as others we have built for customers. Typically the tuning is the same as our Performance tune but with track-specific changes such as EGT and O2 sensor thresholds and other changes for track duty. Race software is sold for off-road use only (see emissions info below).

Alpha-N - Alpha-N is a true custom-built file that requires dyno tuning to dial in your engine and get the most horsepower and torque. Click here for our other listing for Alpha-N info and ordering.

Our software is installed via a D-CAN cable (included) and your Windows laptop (compatible with XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10). The D-CAN cable is included at this price. Read and email your stock file and a tuned file will be returned to you. This is better than off-the-shelf tunes that never look at your original software.
