Evolution Racewerks Intercooler J-Pipe Chargepipe Kit - F8X M2/M3/M4 S55

This is the cold-side charge pipe between the top-mount intercooler and the throttle body on the S55 engine in the F87 M2 Competition, F80 M3, and F82 M4. This aluminum pipe replaces a stock plastic piece that can crack and lead to a boost leak and loss of performance.

Plastic has no place in a turbo system - it's fragile especially when subjected to heat and age. But these cars were built with plastic to save on costs, decrease weight, and possibly to artificially limit performance by creating a weak link. The aluminum pipe and silicone coupler are much stronger for better turbo and throttle response and more consistent power gains. This is a cast aluminum 6061 piece for a smooth bend and flow. The original plastic connection has been replaced with a much stronger metal flange and c-clip. All pieces have a lifetime warranty.

A 1/8" NPT vacuum port is included to add methanol injection. The port is included with a plug but the vacuum fitting is optional.

A new o-ring for the connection to the throttle body is recommended - BMW part #13717568031, see link below.
