Aluminum turbo intercooler pipe is an upgrade for F22 M235i, F30 335i, F32 435i with the N55 engine.

Most people are aware of the needs and benefits of a hard pipe charge pipe on the "cool" side of their turbo BMW - but what about the "hot" side that runs from the turbo into the intercooler? Evolution Racewerk's turbocharger to intercooler (TIC) charge pipe replaces that rubber factory pipe that can break under high boost. This solutions uses a lightweight 6061 aluminum which is mandrel bent for perfect fit and minimal flow restriction. Replaces BMW part #13717602652.

Although there may be a small performance benefit to this turbo intercooler pipe, the main benefit is the stronger material and better reliability be replacing a fragile rubber pipe section with a stronger aluminum version. Rubber is a good selection for an initial install but heat and chemicals will break down and weaken the material over time. There are no such worries with an aluminum version and this piece also uses all of the factory connections to the turbo and intercooler. Precision CNC machining ensures a leak free connection to the turbocharger and intercooler.

This is the hot-side charge pipe between the turbo and the front mount intercooler on the N55 engine in the F22 M235i, F30 335i, and F32 435i. These aluminum pipes replace a stock rubber piece that is surprisingly weak.
