Schrick performance camshaft upgrade for carbureted M30 models - 2800, 3.0CS, and Bavaria.

Schrick M30 282° performance camshaft is a mild sport cam used for street use where a little more mid-range and top end is wanted or in cases where a stock factory cam has worn out. The 282 will not drastically change the power band, idle quality, or driving characteristics and does not require any additional parts or hardware (new valve springs are always a good idea, Schrick valve spring part #000202090).

Camshaft tuning is all about optimizing air/fuel flow for your specific needs. Higher camshaft degrees indicate quicker valve opening while the cam lobe profile opens the valve more and for longer. This cam goes nicely with a rebuilt carb, larger valves, or a ported and polished cylinder head.

The Schrick 282 degree cam provides 10.6mm of valve lift on the intake and exhaust and holds the valve open longer. Valve clearance should be 0.25mm on intake and exhaust.
