Oil Level Sender - M52TU, M54, M62 and more - 12617508003

This oil level sensor / sending unit installs into the oil pan and supplies data to your BMW's electronic control unit (ECU). It provides both oil temperature and oil level. It's also a very high failure part, and can leave your BMW thinking there's a problem when there isn't. Worse than giving a false indication of a problem, if left unreplaced it may mask an actual problem should one arise. 

This affordable aftermarket version of this electronic oil sensor is a great way to solve your failed oil level sender and save quite a bit of money versus the Genuine BMW version of this sensor. It functions the same as the OEM/Genuine sensor but at a fraction of the cost. Save that parts budget for more fun mods!
