VANOS Internal Blind Plug - E46, E39, E60, E83, E53, Z3, E85, M52TU, M54

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11361433513 (11 36 1 433 513) and is described as the small plastic plug found on the inside of double-VANOS units on E46, E39, E60, E83 X3, E53 X5, Z3, and E85 Z4 models (M52TU, M54, M56 engines). These are often a pain to remove without breaking into multiple pieces. Don't reinstall your VANOS without them! The original plug is red or pink-ish but these are just plain yellow plastic.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many engine components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart.
