VANOS Cover Gasket, Aftermarket - E46, E39, E60, E83, E53, Z3, Z4

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11361433817 (11 36 1 433 817) and is described as Engine Gasket (Steel) for the Vanos unit on M52TU and M54 dual vanos 6 cylinder engines. 

Not for BMWs after 2006. Only for cars with M54 or M52TU engines. Please check your 2006 model to determine if it has an M54 engine. Many 2006 models came with the newer "N" series engine, while some 2006 models (like E46) still used the M54. 

Not for BMWs before 1999. If your BMW is a 1999 model year, you will need to check which engine your car came with. This gasket is only for the M52TU (and will not fit the earlier M52.)
