This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 12310392568 (12 31 0 392 568) and is described as Aluminum Screws/Bolts for the N51/N52/N52N Alternator / Generator.
If you are installing (or re-installing) an alternator on the N51/N52 3.0 liter engine found on many 2006-2013 models, you will need a set of these one-time use screws, which stretch when torqued. Once removed, you need to use fresh screws when installing any N51, N52 or N52N 3.0 liter engine.
These screws are made by Rein, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for BMW.
Not for cars with turbo. These bolts/screws are made for the N51/N52 naturally aspirated engine, found on many 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years.
