This is the complete valve cover bolt, nut, grommet, and seal used to tighten down the valve cover on M50, M52, M52TU, M54, S50US, and S52 engines. Looking for just the seal - click here for it (BMW part #11121437395) but note that the latest BMW part has a thicker seal. The seal on the complete piece goes deeper into the valve cover for a stronger seal. These grommets and bolts are an interesting way to secure the valve cover to the cylinder head. They fasten the cover to prevent leaks but also play an aesthetic role as well. Which means when these rust they stand out in a bad way! The hex fastener portion of this assembly is not sold separately. This part number covers the hex bolt, cap washer, and rubber grommet seal. Sold as each.
